Custom Orders — How It Works
Want your dog on a NOKILL pedal — or on your wall, or a shirt? Here's everything you need to know about how custom orders work, from checkout to doorstep.
How custom orders work
- Place your order. Add the Custom Dog Etch option to the pedal you want (or order a Custom Dog Woodcut on its own) and check out like normal.
- I'll email you. After your order comes through, I'll reach out by email with simple next steps for getting me your pup's photos. Keep an eye on your inbox — and your spam folder, just in case.
- Send your photos. Reply with pictures of your dog. The clearer the photo, the better the artwork — see the photo tips below.
- I build it. Your pup gets turned into custom artwork and hand-built into your order.
- It ships. Once it's finished, it ships straight to you.
What you can customize
Custom Dog Pedal Etch — +$75
Add a custom illustration of your dog to any NOKILL pedal. Just select the Custom Dog Etch add-on on the pedal you want. Your pedal's enclosure and knob colors stay exactly the same as the original — only your dog's custom artwork is added. Custom etching adds about 30 days to your build time.
Custom Dog Woodcut — $75
A one-of-a-kind 8" round of wood, laser-etched with a portrait of your dog. A perfect way to honor your best friend — on its own, or as a match to your custom pedal.
Canine Chaos Society — your pup on a shirt
Join the Canine Chaos Society and we'll put your dog on a shirt — and send you a free shirt featuring your own pup. Wear the noise, rep your dog.
Sending your photos
Great artwork starts with a great photo. When you email me your pup's pictures, aim for:
- Clear and in focus — no heavy blur or filters
- Good lighting, ideally natural daylight
- Their face and markings clearly visible
- The highest resolution you've got
- A few different angles if you can — it helps me capture their personality
Turnaround & timing
Most custom work adds about 30 days to your order while your pup's artwork is created and built. If you need something by a specific date, email me before ordering and I'll let you know what's possible.
FAQ
Can I customize any pedal? Yes — the Custom Dog Etch can be added to any pedal in the shop, except the W.O.O.F. Digital Pedal.
Will my pedal look different from the original? Only your dog's custom artwork is added — the enclosure color, knobs, and overall look stay the same as that pedal's original design.
What if I have more than one dog? Reach out — I'm happy to talk through multi-dog artwork.
Can I match a woodcut to my pedal? Absolutely. Plenty of folks order the Custom Dog Woodcut alongside their custom pedal for a matched set.
What if my photo isn't great? No worries — I'll let you know if I need a better shot before I start building.
