Lush analog-style delay with vintage tape wobble — PT2399 echoes that warp like an old cassette.
The Basset Hound Tape Delay is NOKILL's floppy-eared twist on a classic delay pedal. Built around the beloved PT2399 chip, it delivers warm, analog-style repeats with a beautifully warped twist.
A custom LFO mod injects subtle (or not-so-subtle) pitch modulation into the repeats, giving your echoes that wobbly, worn-out tape sound — like a cassette left in the sun too long. From dreamy lo-fi warble to VHS-meltdown territory, the Basset Hound adds rich movement and texture to any signal.
Whether you're chasing vintage tape delay character or want your delay trails to sound like they've been dragged behind a slow-moving dog, this pedal has you covered. Because tape is back. And so is weird.
Controls
- Time — delay time, from slapback to long echoes
- Repeats — number of echo repeats / feedback amount
- Mix — balance of dry signal vs. delayed signal
- Wobble — LFO modulation depth for tape-warp character

FAQ
How long can the delay get? Standard PT2399 territory — slapback through long, smeared trails. Push the Repeats up for self-oscillating feedback runs.
What does the Wobble knob do? Sets the depth of the LFO modulation on the delay line. Off for clean repeats, up for tape warble and pitch-shifting weirdness.
Does it work on bass? Yes — it's a great way to add atmospheric texture without losing low end.
What power supply do I need? Standard 9V DC center-negative. Isolated supplies recommended for clean repeats.
