Two circuits in one enclosure. Fuzz and octave-up, each with their own footswitch.
The Evil Caninevil is a NOKILL original that pairs a reverse-beta silicon fuzz with a full-wave rectifier octave-up. Run the fuzz alone for blooming, dynamically inverted dirt. Kick in the octave for screaming harmonics an octave above your signal. Or run both at once and watch your amp surrender.
The fuzz uses reverse-beta silicon transistors that flip your playing dynamics — dig in and it compresses, ease up and it blooms into massive sustain. The Mode switch flips between two voices: smooth and rich, or completely unhinged.
The octave adds a harmonic one octave above your note. Cleanest on the neck pickup above the 12th fret, increasingly wild and metallic as you move down the neck or hit chords. When stacked after the fuzz, it turns every note into a thick, harmonically complex wall.
Each circuit has its own footswitch, so you get four sounds in one pedal: clean signal, fuzz only, octave only, or both together.
Controls
- Vol — fuzz output level
- Mode (toggle switch) — selects between two fuzz voicings
- Destroy (left footswitch) — octave bypass
- Fuzz (right footswitch) — fuzz bypass

FAQ
Can I use just the octave without the fuzz? Yes. Each circuit has its own footswitch. Octave-only gives you a clean octave-up effect — great for adding shimmer to cleans or cutting through a mix.
Does it work on bass? Absolutely. The fuzz's compression characteristics sit well in a bass mix, and the octave-up adds harmonic presence without losing low end.
What's the Mode switch do? It selects between two fuzz voicings. One is smoother with more sustain. The other is more aggressive and chaotic. Both are loud.
What power supply do I need? Standard 9V DC center-negative. A daisy chain is fine, but an isolated supply is always better for low noise.
