A modded Harmonic Percolator slammed into a discrete glitch-synth fuzz — octave-laced harmonic ruin feeding stuttering square-wave chaos.

The Inca Orchid Destroyer chains two of the nastiest circuits in the underground into one unrepentant beast. Stage one is NOKILL's take on the infamous Harmonic Percolator — the asymmetric germanium/silicon fuzz behind some of the most punishing recorded guitar tones — voiced with the Lemon Hurts mods (Latent Lemon Audio) for a thicker, more pronounced octave-down throat and a wider sweet spot. Stage two drops that straight into the Darkadiator (Parasit Studio): a fully discrete, transistor-based glitch-and-gate guitar synth with square-wave fuzz, octave-down, PWM, and LFO modulation.

The Percolator gnashes your signal into sputtery harmonic mush; the Darkadiator chases it into square-wave synth tones, choppy LFO gating, and alternating-octave madness — with a CV input so you can drive the LFO from anything. Roll your volume back for broken-up grit, dig in for total synth destruction. It reacts to your hands, your pickups, and how mean you feel.

Hairless, fearless, and built to wreck. Unleash the dog in you.

Controls

  • Harmonics — Percolator fuzz / gain
  • Sputter — bias: gating, sputter, octave bloom
  • Balance — Percolator output level
  • Clip (toggle) — germanium / silicon / diode-lift
  • Deep (switch) — fattens the low end
  • Width / Cutoff — Darkadiator PWM width or lowpass cutoff
  • Mode (toggle) — PWM / Lowpass
  • Voice (toggle) — square fuzz / octave-down / both
  • LFO (toggle) — Chop / alternating octaves
  • Rate — LFO rate
  • CV In (jack) — external control of LFO speed
  • Bypass (footswitch)

FAQ

What is a Harmonic Percolator? An infamous late-'70s fuzz/distortion that uses asymmetric germanium and silicon clipping for a uniquely throaty, intermodulated harmonic distortion — long associated with some of the most punishing recorded guitar tones.

What do the Lemon Hurts mods add? Based on Latent Lemon Audio's "Hurts" voicing, they bring out a thicker, more pronounced octave-down growl and a wider usable range, with selectable clipping for germanium, silicon, or diode-lift character.

What is the Darkadiator section? A fully discrete, all-transistor glitch/gated guitar synth from Parasit Studio: square-wave fuzz, octave-down, PWM, and LFO modulation (chop or alternating octaves), with a CV input to drive the LFO speed externally.

Does it track single notes and work on bass? It's gnarliest and most synth-like on single notes and lower registers; chords get gloriously chaotic by design. Bass players will find plenty to wreck with.

What's the CV input for? It accepts an external control voltage to modulate the Darkadiator's LFO speed from another device.

What power supply do I need? Standard 9V DC center-negative.
