PREORDER — every order ships by 30 November 2026, and likely sooner. Each one is built by hand to order.
Two dogs, two fuzzes, one box. Guinness is loud, brash and shrill; Mocha is gruff and grizzled and sounds like he has smoked two packs a day his whole life. The ORDER switch decides who goes first.
Every pedal in the Canine Chaos Society is a real rescue dog. This one is two of them, and they are siblings — Guinness the sister, Mocha the brother — so for the first time a single Society pedal carries two names and two circuits. Built with Cryptid Effects.
Guinness takes the left half, in green to match her collar: a bright, nasty, high-strung fuzz with two gain stages you can stack, a boost in front of them and a voicing toggle beside almost every knob. She is the one who hears something three streets away and tells the whole house about it.
Mocha takes the right half, in red to match his: a big, grizzled wall-of-fuzz with a full tone stack — mids, focus and a pre-gain in front — plus a tuned feedback circuit on its own footswitch. Hold it down and he howls. He is slower to get going than his sister and considerably harder to stop.
The idea comes from the two-circuits-in-one-box format, but where that normally just lets you flip between the two, this one lets them feed each other. The ORDER toggle runs Guinness into Mocha or Mocha into Guinness, and the two bypasses are independent, so either dog works on her or his own, both can run together, and the whole character of the pedal changes depending on which one is in front. Guinness into Mocha is tight and vicious. Mocha into Guinness is enormous and barely under control.
10% of every sale goes to One Tail at a Time West Texas (OTAT WTX) — the same rescue behind the founding three.

FAQ
When will my order ship? This is a preorder. Every order ships by 30 November 2026, and usually sooner — each pedal is built by hand to order.
Who are Guinness and Mocha? Two real rescue dogs, and littermates — Guinness is the sister, Mocha the brother. Each one gets half the pedal, voiced to match how they actually sound, with knob colours taken from their collars.
Does buying this support a rescue? Yes. 10% of every sale goes to One Tail at a Time West Texas (OTAT WTX).
Can I use just one side? Yes. The two bypasses are independent, so either dog runs on its own, or both together.
What does the Order switch do? It swaps which circuit feeds the other. Guinness into Mocha is tighter and more vicious; Mocha into Guinness is bigger and far less controlled.
What does the middle footswitch do? It engages Mocha's feedback circuit while you hold it. The Tune knob sets the pitch it runs away to.
Does it work on bass? Yes — Mocha's side especially, with Focus brought up.
What power supply do I need? Standard 9V DC center-negative. This is a large pedal with two circuits; give it a proper isolated supply.
