The Ruthie is the Canine Chaos Society's lo-fi fuzz — filthy, crushed Ibanez-inspired dirt out front, named for NOKILL's mud-diving goofball.

Every pedal in the Canine Chaos Society is a real rescue dog. Ruthie is the five-year-old goofball of the pack — a hug-and-kiss, dive-into-the-nearest-mud-puddle kind of dog — and she's the loudest one in the room. Her circuit lives at the front of the chain: raw, dirty, and completely unapologetic.

She's a brutal mashup of two iconic Ibanez pedals — the SK-10 Visual Super Product and the LF7 Lo-Fi — blending gritty fuzz with sculptable, crushed lo-fi textures and a full Lo/Hi voicing section. A switchable clipping toggle lets you choose between LED (bold, open crunch) and silicon diode (tighter, more compressed bite). From blown-out speaker vibes to a heavily textured wall of sound, The Ruthie hands you full control of the dirt. 10% of every sale goes to One Tail at a Time West Texas (OTAT WTX) — the rescue where Ruthie herself was saved.

FAQ

Who is Ruthie? Ruthie is one of NOKILL founder Alex's real rescue dogs — the five-year-old goofball of the pack — and this fuzz carries her name, face, and story for good.

Does buying The Ruthie support a rescue? Yes. 10% of every sale goes to One Tail at a Time West Texas (OTAT WTX), the rescue where Ruthie was saved.

What do the LED and Silicon clipping options sound like? LED gives a more open, less compressed crunch with more dynamic range. Silicon gives a tighter, more compressed bite with classic diode-clipped distortion character.

What do the Lo and Hi knobs do? They voice the low and high ends of the dirt, letting you shape everything from bass-heavy sludge to bright, cutting fuzz.

Does it work on bass? Yes — the SK-10-inspired fuzz handles bass well, and the lo-fi section is great for adding texture to bass tones.

What power supply do I need? Standard 9V DC center-negative.
