The Cora is the Canine Chaos Society's square-wave synth fuzz — pulse width, LFO, an octave voice and a blend knob that decides how much of the chaos reaches the room, named for Miss Cora, a Jackchi from Niles, Illinois and the neighborhood's self-appointed busybody.
Every pedal in the Canine Chaos Society is a real rescue dog. Cora's circuit was adopted in the Society's second open round, and the moment it was hers, the old name went in the drawer for good.
Miss Cora was rescued from a family member at nine months old: a pup with far too much energy in far too small a place. Her mom took her in and gave her a beautiful home with a perfect back yard to run and play in, and for the past ten years she's been the love of her mum's life, bringing joy and mischief every single day. Collin met her when she was two. The bond was instant, and she's still Collin's very best furry friend.
She's a Jackchi (Jack Russell meets Chihuahua) and truly one of the smartest beings her people have ever met. Her hobbies include treats, walks, car rides, chasing bunnies and keeping a close eye on everything happening in the neighborhood.
Under the hood she's a CMOS square-wave synth that turns your guitar into arcade bleeps and alien leads. Width shapes the pulse, an LFO sweeps it at whatever Rate you set, the Oct switch adds an octave voice, and Blend mixes your dry signal back in, so you can pull it all the way back to something almost polite. Smart, busy and a little mischievous, just like her. 10% of every sale goes to Wright-Way Rescue in Niles, Illinois — the rescue Cora's family chose.

FAQ
Who is Cora? Miss Cora is a real rescue dog, a Jackchi from Niles, Illinois, who was rescued at nine months old and has spent the past ten years as the love of her mum's life. This pedal carries her name, face and story for good, and is never built or sold under any other name again.
Was The Cora sold under another name? Yes. Before joining the Canine Chaos Society, this circuit went by its kennel name, the Chinese Crested Space Invader. Joining the pack gave it Cora's name for good, so it's now The Cora, FKA Chinese Crested Space Invader.
Does buying The Cora support a rescue? Yes. 10% of every sale goes to Wright-Way Rescue in Niles, Illinois, the rescue Cora's family chose.
What does the Blend knob do? It mixes your dry guitar back in with the synth voice, from full square-wave chaos to a subtle synth shadow under your playing.
Does it track chords? It's happiest on single notes, where the synth voice tracks cleanest. Chords go glitchy and unpredictable — which can be the point.
What power supply do I need? Standard 9V DC center-negative.
