Sunn O))) Life Pedal-inspired distortion with an added clipping switch and footswitchable boost.

Glizzy is LIFE. The Hot Dog is NOKILL's take on the Sunn O))) Life Pedal — a high-gain distortion / fuzz built for thick, doom-laden walls of sound, with an additional clipping switch for extra voicing options and the boost moved to its own footswitch.

Crush, sustain, and crank: dial in a singing lead tone with the boost engaged, or pull the boost back for a tighter, more focused rhythm sound. The Hot Dog is meant to take up space in a mix and refuse to leave.

Bring a new level of noise to your board. Unleash the dog in you.

FAQ

How is this different from the Life Pedal? The Hot Dog adds a clipping switch for additional voicing options and moves the boost to its own dedicated footswitch.

Will it work on bass? Yes — the active EQ section, especially the Mid Freq sweep, is great for shaping the distortion for bass.

What does the Clipping switch do? Selects between clipping diode options to change the character of the distortion (from looser to tighter / more compressed).

What power supply do I need? Standard 9V DC center-negative.
